In Loving Memory

Meko Coplin’s passing on August 2nd, 2024, left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew her. She was more than just a parent; she was a pillar in her community and a guiding light for the MFCC family. Meko was always there for others, a dependable and selfless presence who could be counted on for support, love, and guidance in any situation. Her heart was as big as her commitment to making the world a better place.

Meko’s dedication to ending domestic violence was particularly close to her heart, as she herself had been a victim. Despite her own painful past, she used her experience as a source of strength to advocate for change. She became a well-known figure throughout LA County, using her voice and her story to raise awareness about the devastating effects of domestic violence and to push for action. Her courage and determination in this fight inspired many, and she worked tirelessly to create safer spaces for survivors, empowering them to heal and rebuild their lives.

Meko’s love for her daughters, Kyleah and Alani, was undeniable. She poured her heart and soul into raising them, always putting their needs first and making sure they knew just how much they were cherished. Her girls were her world, and she was fiercely protective of them, always striving to give them the love and stability they deserved.

The MFCC family and the wider community lost a truly remarkable woman in Meko. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched, the advocacy she championed, and the love she gave so freely. Meko’s spirit will forever be remembered as a source of strength, compassion, and resilience, and she will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

In Loving Memory

On December 10th, 2023, we lost a remarkable and loving person—Chris Klemick. His passing left an indescribable void, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Chris was the embodiment of kindness and compassion. He had a heart that never hesitated to open up to those in need, and his actions spoke volumes about the kind of person he was.

One of the most telling aspects of Chris’s character was his unwavering commitment to his family. He took on the responsibility of becoming a foster parent for his niece and nephew, Joseph and Elizabeth. This decision was a testament to his deep sense of love, devotion, and protection. Chris wasn’t just their guardian—he was their protector, their safe place. He stepped up when his family needed him most, providing Joseph and Elizabeth with the stability, love, and care that they deserved.

Chris was the pillar of his family, always ready to offer support, strength, and guidance. Whether through small, everyday gestures or monumental acts of love and protection, he showed what it truly meant to be there for the ones you love. His priority was always the well-being of his family, and he worked tirelessly to ensure they had what they needed.

Even though Chris is no longer physically with us, his love and the impact he made will continue to resonate. We know that he is still watching over his family, guiding them with the same unwavering love and protection that he offered in life. His legacy lives on in the way he touched hearts, in the love he gave, and in the family he protected. Chris was a true hero to those who had the honor of knowing him, and he will never be forgotten.

"A huge thank you to MFCC for preparing our little ones for school. This is a picture of my grandson, Ishmel (front right) whose team won 1st place of Palmdale's elementary schools, in the 2025 Black Knowledge Bowl. Ishmel is a third grader, and the youngest participate. Kudos Oaktree on their first win, and to MFCC for playing a pivotal role in Ishmel's early learning development!"

Parent Reviews

"My children have been attending Malone family Child care for about a year and a half now. My children have learned so much here, The staff is great and they provide our children with a loving and caring atmosphere . I know my children are in good hands. I recommend this facility to everyone in need of a fun, loving, educational and most of all safe environment for their most precious jewels."

"All of my children went to MFCC and they received love, and a great foundation of education! I was also an employee and to see first hand the love and care each child receives confirmed that I made a great decision as a former parent and a former employee I would recommend and have recommended any of my friends and family to MFCC! You are truly apart of a family forever!"

Chevondalyn Tanae Meadows (est.2017)

"Words cannot describe how happy I am to find a child care that is dedicated to your child in every way. I'm very skeptical on who I leave my children with and I cannot express how loving, caring and nurturing the Malone family child care is. They treat your children like family. My daughter asks everyday "are we going to Mrs. Jan" The learning structure is amazing: my daughter has learned her colors, numbers and alphabet. She talks and interacts with children three times her age. I couldn't ask for a better child care."

Roshanna Panye (est.2020)

As a parent, I cannot express enough how grateful I am for MFCC. My daughters have been attending for six years, and every single day has been a blessing to feel the security that my daughters are in good hands. The staff creates a nurturing environment where our kids feel safe, valued, and loved. I trust them, knowing that my daughters are in the best hands. It’s amazing to watch my daughters thrive, develop new skills, and genuinely look forward to spending time here!! The bond they share with the staff is a testament to the warmth and dedication that makes this daycare truly exceptional!!

Malone Family Childcare is great! My child loves it there! The support I receive from them is outstanding. I think of them as family.

Leilani Calhoun Brannon (est.2025)

My kids have been attending MFCC for about three years now. They went to other daycares in the past, and they were fine, but something was definitely missing. My fiancée worked with Mr. Marvin, and he told us that he and his wife ran a daycare. I never thought daycare could be more than just "babysitters." This daycare and the people in it have become family. This is my children's home away from home. I know my kids are safe and loved here.

Alexus Brennan (est.2025)

"My grandsons receive the loving care and education all children need and deserve. My daughter and son-in-law are blessed to have Marvin and Jan Malone (and staff) caring for their boys."

Sherri Terrell (est.2016)

"As a mother, I couldn’t be happier with Malone Family Childcare! From day one, I have felt completely confident in the safety and well-being of my child. The caregivers are nurturing, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth. My little one is not only safe but also thriving—learning new skills and hitting developmental milestones every day. It’s no surprise that MFCC is ranked among the top quality childcare providers in Antelope Valley. Their dedication to excellence and child development is unmatched. I highly recommend MFCC to any parent looking for a loving, high-quality childcare experience!"

My son has been attending MFCC since 6m old and is now almost 2 and I love & appreciate all the staff beyond words for how much they have helped me with my child . He has hit every milestone on time while attending MFCC. My child’s vocabulary is incredible for his age and I owe a special thanks to MFCC for that because they create such a great learning environment especially for the babies . I appreciate how staff interacts with the children and speak to them kindly & with respect . I see those same qualities so much in my child with his words and his interactions with others. I have so much relief through the day knowing that my child is not only SAFE but he is amongst attentive, caring ,loving adults who strive everyday to make him better . I recommend MFCC to ANY and all families looking for a safe , loving, educational environment for their littles.
